You are right Avik. Just imagining the sight of the gore takes the sleep away from our eyes. Put yourself in the position of the rescuers... or that of the poor animal. Where are we going with this? What are we doing? Have our hearts turned so cold that we do not feel for each other anymore? Are we still 'human'? I do not know, and frankly I have my doubts about our ability to care. <br/><br/>I so remember the famous quote of Shakespeare "If you prick us, do we not bleed? if you tickle us, do we not laugh? if you poison us, do we not die? and if you wrong us, shall we not revenge? If we are like you in the rest, we will resemble you in that"<br/><br/>He also rightly said "Hell is empty and all the devils are here."<br/><br/>I pray for the soul of that poor little dog.
