Prior to that, I had no real knowledge of the chihuahua breed and never realized what a special little dog they are - your article is quite accurate - very feisty for such a little dog. My Rosie unfortunately was abused prior to being rescued, and she has issues that we're working on. I am disgusted by people who have dogs just as showpieces; I agree that a purse is no place for any dog, no matter if they do fit into one. Rosie loves to run, go for walks, and bask in the sun- she likes all the things any larger dog likes to do. Thanks for bringing this to everyone's attention.<br/>And also, thanks for your kind comments on our blog about the passing of our boy Fritzy on Saturday.
