Lately, I haven’t been able to make regular posts, drop/ return Entrecards on my friends from Entrecard, and read and comment on some of my favorite blogs. I would like to apologize to everyone for my absence.

It has been a crazy two weeks, and it all started as a project that my team has been working on for the last six months, began to come to its scheduled end. It is almost eerie that whenever something runs too smoothly for too long, something gives. It happened to us too.

A project, that has been a piece of cake for 6 months came face to face with the law of averages and we ended up with the cake in our face, 9 straight days in the office (where we came back home in the morning, took a shower, slept for two hours, had our breakfast, and then went back to work), a more or less happy client pursuing us like a mad dog (pun intended), and a practically 3/4 dead set of people at the end of those 9 days.

So, yes, blogging really hasn’t been on the top of my mind. Of course, our very supportive subscribers have helped us keep the blog alive with some very interesting guest posts. All thanks to them, at least those of you who dropped by to check, got to read something new. Thank you Manik and Smita. It’s for supporters like you that Paws Awhile is worth its while.

I would also like to thank our regular droppers and visitors, who, to my surprise, did not give up on us. When I checked back with Google Analytics and Feedburner, the drop in visitors was nominal. Thank you for not giving up on us.

We’re going to be more regular, more interesting, more substantial and definitely more prompt the next time onwards.
