Paws Awhile started in August 2007 as an online awareness initiative about INDOGS – one of the oldest dog breeds in the world, found in India.

Since then, we have sustained and grown. What started as a local initiative of two friends in Kolkata, India is now known worldwide, with a membership base of over 100 people from around the world.

The surprising part of it all is that this blog is our only front. From that perspective, our growth has been really encouraging.

We started off as a blog on blogspot.com, and thanks to the great platform, we have been able to come this far. However, growth calls for change and we have answered that call by moving this blog to its own domain.

From December 25th, 2008, Paws Awhile will be found at http://www.indogs.info, rather than at http://paws-world.blogspot.com.

We hope that in this second leg of our journey, you will continue to be a part of Paws Awhile, supporting us and standing behind us in everything we do.
